There isn’t much that I love more than a fabulous little fitted jacket. Or sequins. I love them both equally. So a little fitted jacket, covered in sequins, kind of makes me drool and dance and jump up and down at the same time. And when that combination exists from one of my all-time favorite designers and has so many impeccable detailed features, well…let’s just say even my dog is looking at me funny right now.
So let’s take a closer look at the Naomi Sequined Bomber Jacket from Cynthia Rowley. It’s tiny, shrunken silhouette is perfect because with this much “stuff” going on, this jacket with any other fit could easily wear you instead of you wearing it. It’s all-over sequins are actually arranged in a really faint abstract floral pattern, and the quilted, cream-colored placket down the front and at the neck offer the perfect amount of contrast and matte focus away from the sequined shine. And the final finishing detail that really makes this so versatile is the athletic-inspired striped ribbing around the cuffs and waist. It somehow ups the cool factor by making the sequins a little less precious and makes the whole thing wearable with everything from jeans and a concert tee to a long satin slip dress.
There is no questioning that this is a bit of an investment piece at $625, but it’s something that will work in your wardrobe literally forever. It will become your signature piece that will work with everything in your closet and make you shine as much from the outside as you do from the inside…
